This July Sarah and I are planning to accompany the pastor (and his wife) who married us on a trip to Africa. During our trip, we will be teaching pastors in Uganda and Kenya the Biblical view of marriage.
The purpose of this blog is three-fold:
1. To elicit prayer for our trip.
2. To filter my thoughts through the lens of the readers.
3. To provide a lasting record of our "trip before the trip," which is always full of interesting twists and turns.

Unity...
The Bible talks about a married couple being "one flesh;" that a man will "cleave" to his wife. Pray for us that we will have the courage and grace to connect in a Biblical manner.
